Imax: DReam Big

A new IMAX film about engineering marvels that incorporate new design techniques, like the Millau Viaduct and the Shanghai Tower, opened in February 2017. The film's producers wanted educational activities and content that can be provided to museums and teachers free-of-charge on the film website.

My Role: Working closely with Paul Orselli of POW! (Paul Orselli Workshop), I co-developed and conducted formative testing for three easy-to-assemble interactives that can demonstrate wind, earthquake and gravitational forces. The final curriculum narrative and pop-up activities connect the film to STEM learning concepts and provide open-ended prompts for educators to facilitate groups and make connections to both classroom curriculum and film content.
