In short: I’m an accomplished experience design professional with core competencies in education and exhibition design and a gift for understanding diverse audiences. Colleagues describe me as a reliable, friendly, and creative individual with the ability to work independently as well as collaborate within a team environment.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked in both a freelance capacity for small institutions and at length with selected design firms, developing experiences and content for a broad range of end-users. My work has included writing exhibit scripts and audience evaluation reports, interviewing 3rd graders about their favorite science topics, writing articles for the Informal Learning Review or even investigating, zoning and describing a new site plan for a working farm. In addition, I make killer presentations to the public, and I've often presented with collaborators at design team pitches, client team meetings and international conferences.
My career is unified by a passion for interdisciplinary communication and informal education, striving to get a deep understanding of end-users to craft the most valuable experience possible. On every project, I work diligently to identify the best methods to convey the client’s message and strike a resonant chord with audiences. I am confident in my ability to work in a collaborative environment and quickly adopt project goals as my own to bring it to a successful completion.
